Kicking off the festivities was Burberry darling, Christopher Bailey. As a fellow Yorkshire-born, creator of lust worthy clothing and not to mention his penchant for social media; my desire to keep refreshing the browser put me at severe risk of F5 induced RSI. With social media and fashion vying for attention in my heart, Bailey is winning the race to my affections. His efforts at London Fashion Week showcased how adept he is at promoting fashion to the online community. He offered embeddable Facebook videos for streaming live shows, made a limited sale of his collection available online and previewed key looks on Twitter (AKA the #tweetwalk). What next season will bring, I only dare to dream.
