Together In Electric Dreams

As a social media addict, running accounts for businesses in Ibiza, I spend more time in the virtual world than most. Living in Ibiza also puts me at a rather long commute for many events I would like to attend. If like me, life got in the way and you were unable to make it to the first ever Vogue Festival, this is no reason that you should miss out. With talks from everyone from Dolce and Gabbana and Tom Ford to Nigella Lawson you can pick up all the juiciest bits online and for the savvy shopper the must-have purchases are just a click away. Combining social networking updates (#VogueFest), cool snaps from Instagram, live blogging and Vogue TV; you can live the virtual dream instead.

2012 is set to be the ‘Greatest’ British summer of our time. There is an array of exciting events ahead. Our royal love affair can continue with the Jubilee just around the corner; street parties, an extra bank holiday and endless debates on what the lovely Kate will wear next. This will be shortly followed by a summer of British sport. Who isn’t excited about the Olympics setting foot on UK soil and Team GB stepping out dressed a la Stella McCartney? With Wimbledon, The Euro and a plea from Prince Harry to holiday at home; what better time is there to check out the hottest options British design has to offer? Not forgetting the fact that we have potentially the best high street in the world. I think sensible excitement is in order…
